I love love love having my late grandma’s clothes and my grandpa’s girlfriend’s shoes and my late uncle’s rug and my dad’s sweater and the lamp that was in my grandpa’s house and then my parent’s house. I love eating beets from my mom’s garden. I love wine bottles from friends who are celebrating sitting in my kitchen. I love the cutting from a coworker that grew into a big big plant. I love the tiny ceramic fish that my friend gifted my boyfriend that broke and I superglued back together resting on the frame of my boyfriend’s favorite painting in my home. I love how everything touches everything. I love that life carries on, that love lives in everything, that memories seep into objects and stay there.
